Then There Were 2...
Jack was a little angry that he couldn't go to school too so I told him he and Brin get to go to 'mommy school'. They are having fun so far. I left dished in my sink today so I could play puzzles with them and go to storytime at the library. They had a great time!
First Day of School 2009
Kayla started 3rd grade on Monday and Henry started Kindergarten. They were both very excited. Henry started the day with a funny little dance after I woke him up. He had a smile on his face all morning.

I try to make the kids homemade cookies on the first day of school. This year they had to wait for me to cook them after school but it was worth the wait!
The Butterfly Park (the new part)
Our summer wouldn't be complete without a trip to the park with the Terrys. Rachel and I were so very out numbered. Rydman 10, Kayla 8, Emerie 8, Quincy 6, Henry 5, Cutler 4, Jack 2, Mabrey 2, Brinley 1. They had a blast together!

Cedar City
On the drive home from Utah Lars was getting a bit sleepy and so we stopped at the Discovery Park in Cedar City. The kids had a great time and Lars had a good nap.

Utah
We visited with Lars' brother in Springville and realized once again that we don't get to see them often enough! The kids really get along so well (so do the adults).
They do clean up pretty good.
Jack and Brinley - I have been asked a couple of times if they are twins. As she gets bigger I think that will happen more and more.Kayla and our darling cousin Krista.
Teeter-totter bread and water... (can't remember the rest)
Home Depot
Home Depot offers a free kids class on the first Saturday of each month. Kayla and Henry went one time with Lars and then we had soccer for 2 months and didn't get to go again until....

They made message boards. Half cork board half white board. When we got home they painted them and they are really cute.
Random Pictures and Life Updates
This blog has been very negledted lately! Our official 'summer' has come to an end with Kayla and Henry starting school this week. I had surgery about 4 weeks ago so I was out of comission for a little while. It was a laparoscopic hysterectomy so it was nonenvasive and the recovery was pretty quick. Here are some random pics of the last few weeks. I swear Kayla and Jack are still part of our family!
I couldn't resist this shot. Thanks for the 'Super Henry' cape mom.
Since most of Brinley's shirts don't have the snap crotch anymore she loves to lift up her shirt and if that wasn't bad enough she sticks it in her mouth!
Her first chocolate frosting/graham cracker... yummy
Brin loves to be outside. She hears the vertical blinds being opened and runs as fast as she can so she can be the first one out the door.
