DOUBLE DIGITS!!

Kayla Cristine Larsen   Born 6/14/2001

Loves helping daddy in the garage.  Most recently they are working on a desk for her room!
Kayla turned 10 today!!!  She is pretty stoked to be in the double digits club!  She even woke up at
6:30 AM to open her presents before Lars went to work!  Here are some pictures of her through the years!

When Kayla lost her top front teet, they took a year to come back in!
She has always loved playing dress up and pretend... especially at the musuem.

Kayla has a beautiful singing voice.  She sang her first solo at our ward Christmas party in 2008.  It was AMAZING!!!

Her 6th b'day was spent on a cruise for a family reunion.  She loves to relive that day!

Best big sister ever!!  She loves her little brothers and sister!  She enjoys matching with Brinley.

She has a great group of friends!  Keola, Lea, Gabbie, Megan and Kayla

We gave the girls all water blasters!  They were a HIT!!

Kayla helped design and decorate her cake!  She is so creative and did a great job!

We set up the pools, the easy up and the slip and slide.  Pizza, soda and cake and ice cream!  PERFECT!!

See the big "kid" in the orange.  The kids all enjoyed getting Lars soaked!  He loved it too!!
Hope you have a GREAT DAY SWEETIE!!  We love you!!

FHE

Henry was in charge of the Family Night lesson tonight.  He chose a lesson about the Good Samaritan.  The kids had a fantastic time acting out all the parts.  Lars even got into the fun being the horse that the Samaritan had carry the wounded man to the inn.  It was a great night.

Henry was a pretty convincing wounded man... a "happy" wounded man

The Samaritan (Kayla) paying the inn keeper (Brinley) to care for the wounded man.  Brinley is a little obsessed with money and coins so it was the perfect part for her!

The Samaritan (Brinley) paying the inn keeper (Jack) and he examined the money

Jack and Henry playing the part of the robbers... they may have enjoyed it a little bit too much!
Lars and I were commenting on how good the kids were being during the lesson and we realized we had scripted the fight right into the lesson.  Brilliant!!!

Brinley's turn to be "the dead guy"... love the tongue sticking out
