He did it! He did it! He did it! Hooray!! Henry finally lost his first tooth. It's been loose for weeks and he has 3 more
gettin' ready to come out! He was so excited and so cute about it. During the prayer for lunch he prayed that his tooth would come out when it wasn't hurting. It didn't hurt a bit. He was thrilled to find $1.00 under his pillow the next morning from the Tooth Fairy.
On another note - Kayla lost her first molar last week too. We've kept the tooth fairy busy at our house.
We have Family Home Evening every week and the kids love to participate.
Brinley's favorite part is leading the music and picking the song. She tries so hard to just wave her arm and NOT do the actions to Popcorn Popping. She usually does alright until "... it wasn't really so, but it seemed to be. Popcorn popping on the apricot tree." By this point she just can't contain herself. It's really cute.
Tonight for FHE we made a lemonade stand. Kayla has been wanting to do one all summer so we tonight it was her turn to pick the activity for family night. She made a sign that said "Free Lemonade" and the lemonade. I made some no-bake cookies for the occasion. I told Lars we should change the sign to say "Free Lemonade, Cookies $5.00". We had about 4 people come by and the kids loved playing with the neighbors.
There were 2 teenagers on bikes that came by and had some lemonade. As they left, I said, "Make sure you find a garbage can for the cups." Those punks dropped their cups in the middle of the street 100 yards from our house! DANG KIDS!!!
Jack started "Mommy Preschool" and Brinley came along for the ride. We talked about shapes and colors. Jack did so well and even wrote his name without any help! He loved glueing the macaroni on the shapes. I cut graham crackers into different shapes and we had grapes for a snack. Brinley has the attention span of a 2 year old. Go figure. I got a call from a lady in our ward who wants to set up a co-op preschool for 3 yr olds - sounds great!!
We waited for the school bus for about 20 minutes.
Brinley fell asleep in the car and so I put her in bed when we got home. Jack disappeared upstairs for a few minutes and came back down. No big deal, I thought he was just playing. He was "...just giving Brin some toys so she can be happy... oh and her hat". Silly goose!!
Teamwork! Love it!
Ready, aim, FIRE!!
We found the inventor's workshop - we've been probably a dozen times this summer and haven't ever seen it before. Holy Cow - we could spend all day in there. Kayla, Henry and Jack love building and creating stuff. 
Build a Lego car and then race it down the speedway! I love to see my kids working together and at the museum they do.
Brinley made a rocket and was launching it. Kept her busy for quite awhile.
We made these parachute cup thingies and put them up a wind tunnel and watched them "fly"
What's everybody lookin' at? There were baby chicks hatching while we were there. It was so cool!
Sharing a chair - not fighting... the planets have aligned for one brief moment.

We've been doing a little bit of school work, when I say a little bit I mean maybe 10 times total this whole summer.
We met Lars at a park near his office and had a picnic lunch and the kids played in the water fountains. It was so much fun.
