1st Grade Program



This was Henry's class singing You're a Grand 'Ole Flag.  At breakfast the morning of the program Henry said, in the sweetest voice, "Can you sing You're a Grand 'Ole Flag with me?  Cuz our class is the only class singing it and we really have to sing out and I forget some of the words..."  How cute is that??  We sand the song over pancakes and it really paid off!!

Henry had his 1st Grade end of year program last week.  Can you believe that school is almost out??!!

Henry had an amazing teacher again this year.  He has learned so much and really excelled in all his subjects.  He started reading chapter books this year and is currently reading Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

Only in Texas would a school's 1st grade sing Love Can Build a Bridge by The Judds.  The sign language was a nice touch.

I'm sure I'm totally partial but I have some dang good artists in my family!  Kayla and Henry bring home are projects every week and I'm just amazed.  I wanted to document them and share with the world!!
