Field Trip

I was able to take the little kids and go on a field trip with Henry's 1st grade class. We went to Old MacDonalds Farm. It was so much fun. There are so many things to do and see. The biggest hit with my group was a huge mound of sand. There were sand toys and lots of trucks... they were in heaven! They dug a hole big enough for Macy to fit in. There were ponies to ride, lambs and chickens to feed, cows to see, swings to swing, monkey bars to hang on, a pumpkin patch to choose a pumpkin and a train to ride on. It's a flat fee 6 bucks a person and you can do anything you want to... NO EXTRA CHARGE! (unheard of, I know) And the kids each got to choose a pumpkin.
Our group: Henry, Macy, James, Jack and Brinley

Dirt+Trucks+Jack=a happy kid
Lots of kids kept asking if they could use her shovel... "NO!"
On the train - Jack, Macy and Henry. Macy said - as she looked at Brinley - "Hey, she looks like me." They really do.
Me and Brin on the train
The only horse she would ride.Allergy salute... poor thing
Henry loved riding the pony.
Jack would NOT go in the pen with the other kids to feed the animals. "I'll just watch."
Henry used all his feed and Jack's too. Brinley would get close to the animal and just drop the feed. It was so funny.
All the 1st graders were lined up at the fence... she had to sit with them.
James, Jack and Brinley waiting to go in the patch.
The tire swingWhen we got in the car - these 2 crashed!
